Special Correspondents 2016 Finsub
Frank (Eric Bana) on vanhanaikainen pyrkyritoimittaja, joka tykkää juomisesta ja rikkoo sääntöjä saadakseen tarinan. Omaksi harmikseen tämä työskentelee radiossa, tämän mielestä kuolevassa mediassa. Ian (Ricky Gervais) työskentelee äänituottajana radioasemalla ja joutuu selittelemään katkeralle vaimolleen (Vera Farmiga) työnsä tärkeyttä. Frank ja Ian saavat yllättäen toimeksiannon Ecuadoriin reportoimaan puhjenneesta sisällissodasta. Kumpikin miehistä on omalla tavallaan onneton. Matka tyssää nopeasti kun matkapaperit katoavat ja hätävalheeksi kaksikko tekee ensimmäisen reportaasin radiotalon naapurista, mukavan pariskunnan yläkerrasta. Valheesta tuleekin mukavuutta ja pian tilanne karkaa täysin Frankin ja Ianin käsistä, kun fiktiivinen tilanne Ecuadorissa kärjistyy kansainväliseksi uutiseksi.
